The cathartic poster features series star Jennifer Lawrence, 24, standing protectively behind Willow Shields, 14, who plays Katniss's little sister in the film. They seem to be posed to evoke the gothic look of an old-fashioned portrait.
The movie will be released in 2D, 3D & IMAX 3D in November.
