Engage your senses and check out the newest attraction at SM Mall of Asia, the newly-opened XD 4D Cinema, a unique movie experience that combines visual effects with physical effects like rain or wind, synchronized with whatever the audience is watching on the screen.
For its first offering, it will be showing "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" in 2D with 4D effects, for a limited time. Tickets are available at the IMAX ticket booths. Admission price is P350.00, with daily screening schedule of 1:00PM, 4:00PM, 7:00PM, and 10:00PM (Schedules may change without prior notice.).
Effects simulated in a 4D film may include rain, wind, strobe lights, and vibration. Seats in 4D venues may vibrate or move a few inches during the presentations. Other common chair effects include air jets, water sprays, and leg and back ticklers. Hall effects may include smoke, rain, lightning, air bubbles, and special scents.
